Community Needs Assessment -
Jackson County, Georgia
This project was completed throughout my Nutrition in Public Health course. With a group of 10 individuals, a community needs assessment of a county close to campus was completed, a video representation of the needs assessment was developed, and a grant proposal related to the nutrition problem chosen was developed.
Community needs assessment
I was responsible for the public health nutrition issue and target population sections as well as final edits and submission.
Needs Assessment Video
As a group, we were tasked with creating a visual representation of our needs assessment. This included all data and information gathered throughout the needs assessment and visiting the county for an initial assessment of the health and nutrition-related issue identified.
Grant Proposal
Following the needs assessment, our group was tasked with creating a grant proposal according to given specifications and instructions.
