This case study geared around an elderly man presenting with malnutriton and was completed for my MNT 1 course. I learned how to use the NCM, eNCPT, scientific literature, and various calculations.
Ulcer disease case study.
This case study involved both malnutrition and ulcer disease. This case study was completed for my MNT 1 course. Through this case study I learned about different gastrointestinal diseases and their impact on malnutrition. This case study also reinforced my proficiency in using the NCM, eNCPT, and creating PES statements. Also, this case study involved various enteral nutrition prescriptions and calculations.
Pregnancy case study.
This case study was completed for my Life Cyle Nutrition course. Through this case study, my group explore pregnancy nutrition for an overweight individual.
Breastfeeding case study.
This case study was completed for my Life Cycle Nutrition course. This case study explores the benefits and difficulties surrounding breastfeeding for new mothers.
Adolescent Nutrition Case Study
Through this group case study completed in my Life Cycle Nutrition course, the health and nutrition status of an overweight nine year old boy is explored. This case study involved a diet analysis, growth curve analysis, and positive goal setting.
